United Against Hate Awarded 2024 Evjue Foundation Grant

The Evjue Foundation, The Capital Times’ charitable arm, announced that its board has approved $1,563,000 in grants to support Madison-area nonprofits and educational institutions this year. United Against Hate was awarded $2,500 in support of educational school events to introduce curriculum about fundamental constitutional principles. Read the article here>

Federal Government Sets Aside $400 Million To Improve Security Against Hate Crimes, Anti-Semitism

Following a steep rise in hate crimes in the past year, many of which were directed at Jewish individuals and institutions, U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal announced a $400 million increase in security funding Monday from the federal government. Read the article here>
